Remove Email Address and/or Mobile Number from Performance Updates Contacts

Overview

One or more users have requested their email address and/or mobile number to be removed from the NS8 Protect's performance monitoring updates list because they no longer want to receive these alerts from NS8 Protect.

Solution

Below steps need to be performed from the NS8 Protect Dashboard:

  1. Click on Performance > Contacts

  1. There are 2 cases possible here:
      1. If the user wants to be removed completely from this list:
          1. Click on Delete besides that user

          1. Click Delete on the Delete Contact dialog

      1. If the user has both their email address and mobile number registered for updates and wants to only remove either of them:
          1. Click on Edit besides the user

          1. Click on the cross beside the email address or mobile number that need to be removed (as per the user's requirement) and then click OK
