Fraud Orders not Filtered and no Alerts Raised


You have received a chargeback for an order because it was a fraud order. The order was not filtered by NS8 Protect and due to it, no alerts were raised for fraud on your eCommerce platform (eg: Shopify) as well.



This issue can occur when orders are coming in at a time when there is an internal outage that occurred in NS8 Protect. This outage prevents NS8 Protect from analyzing, reviewing, and scoring the orders, and hence, the orders would bypass NS8 Protect, which can lead to a fraud order being placed.
